In order to enhance the public’s understanding of the situation that unworthy businesses disposed waste at their own choices but violate environmental protection regulations, and increase the public’s awareness of environmental crimes, the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) applies diverse approaches to promote widely. Especially for unused land, leased land and soil-filling land, the EPA strongly promotes to avoid from illegal disposition of waste. Also, it works with the EPA’s plan to actively promote energy saving, carbon decreasing and environment cleaning (including activating Clean Up Taiwan, environment clean and maintenance, environment care, dengue fever, and bugs & rats prevention) and related affairs. In comply with its promotion key point, this plan uses a wholly creative strategy to design "garbage truck on-board promotion" and produce "garbage truck on-board promotion" types for broadcasting "Against illegal waste disposition” in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Hakka by gargage trucks. Furthermore, it designs “Promotional BBanners for GGarbage TTrucks”” for sending to all department of environmental protection in Taiwan, and encourage cities and counties to post those banners emphasizing the importance of “Frequently Visiting One’s Land to Protect One’s Rights”. Also, it makes “Prevention of Illegal Waste Disposition Booklets” for sending to all farmers’ associations around Taiwan to provide the public’s convenience. In the aspect of radio broadcasting, it combines the concept of leased land and TV commercials about frequently visiting one’s land to produce two radio broadcasting videos “The Main Temple Gate” and “Promotion” in Mandarin, Taiwanese and Hakka to promote the key points of “energy saving, carbon decreasing and environment cleaning” with this plan. It also edits a booklet “Cleaning Up Our Homeland- Let Work Together for Make Our Home Clean” to sending all departments of environmental protects for promotion. Also, it enhances promotion activities such as broadcasting with the TV network in 12 main train stations and outdoor LCD TV broadcasting network. Furthermore, it integrates marketing events with other media, including radio interviews and announcements, newspaper advertisements, special magazine articles, and press releases to effectively strengthen the public’s awareness on “Increasing People’s Awareness on Environmental Protection” and “Prevention from Illegal Waste Disposition.”
